The Mathematics/Computing faculty at Mulwaree High School provides mandatory study of Mathematics in Years 7 to 10, following the NESA K-10 Mathematics syllabus; the computing subjects Information and Software Technology in Years 9 and 10, and Software Design and development in Years 11 and 12; and all senior Mathematics courses available to NSW students. A range of extra-curricular activities are also part of what we do, including Chess Club and Chess competitions, ICAS and Australian Mathematics Trust competitions, Digital Technologies and Computational Thinking competitions, STEAM Club activities and a variety of excursions.
We support academically gifted students by providing an accelerated Mathematics program, as well as Mathematics enrichment programs and activities for suitable students.
